Pan fried versus air fried crispy chicken

The clear winner...
Vegetable oil, medium high heat, 3 minutes per side.

The ninja foodie XL with the broil setting set to 450° ended up going for 12 minutes.

It came out with a better texture, but it didn't truly set the crust. The crust didn't stay on the chicken. The moment I picked it up it split right along the edge and the chicken breast slipped out with ease.
Thusly... The winner of today's culinary adventure is 100% the vegetable oil shallow fry.
